Aside from the RM85, Suzuki have followed Honda's lead and decided to discontinue their 250, 125 & 85L 2-stroke models from 2009. I can't say this is a sign that 2-stroke dirt bikes are a dying breed. They make up at least 1/3 or more of the bikes cutting laps out at Appin (although rarely are they Suzuki models) and i know KTM's 2-stroke enduro range dominate alot of big enduro events. And there is no denying that 2 banger aroma.
